What is RTE (Right to Education) Madhya Pradesh Admission?

RTE MP 2025-26 :- The full form of RTE is Right to Education. According to this law, every child in our country has the fundamental right to education. Article 21A has been included in the Constitution of India (86th Amendment, 2002). This law was made in the year 2009 and the rule made under the Right to Free and Compulsory Child Education Act was implemented from 26 March 2011. Under this rule, every private school has to reserve 25% seats in its school for poor children from deprived groups and weaker sections. Under this law, the School Education Department of the Madhya Pradesh government has sought applications from children of poor families of its state who want to get admission in private schools. Under the Right to Education Act (MP RTE) across the country, poor children are provided free and compulsory education from the age of 6 to 14 years in reputed private schools. To increase the level of education in rural and urban areas, the Central Government of India has made it mandatory to reserve 25% seats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Reserved Category (SC/ST/PH). Along with this, it has been decided to give special priority to the children coming under the Covid Child Welfare Scheme. RTE MP 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria

• BPL/Antyodaya card is valid for weaker sections.
• Orphan children registered by Women and Child Development Officer
• If the child is of HIV affected category, then certificate issued by District Medical Board.
• Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, forest land lease holder families, Vimukta Jati, disabled children (as per certificate issued by Medical Board) or HIV affected children will be included under the deprived group.
• Children should study in nursery or first class.
• Children should be permanent or native residents of Madhya Pradesh.
• Parents can submit RTE admission form only in their nearest private schools.
• Parents have to submit the online form with all the details correct.
• The annual income of the parents of the children should not exceed the official income norms.
• As per RTE law, children of families living below the poverty line, orphan children, children who have lost both or one of the parents in the Covid pandemic can get admission in private schools.

 

RTE MP 2025-26 Age Limit

Pre-Primary 3+ (PP3+) – 3 years or more but less than 4 years.

Pre-Primary 4+ (PP3+) – 3 years 6 months or more but less than 5 years.

Pre-Primary 5+ (PP3+) – 4 years 6 months or more but less than 6 years.

First Class – 5 years or more but less than 7 years.

RTE MP 2025-26 How To Do Online Registration?

• • First of all, the applicant has to visit the official website of RTE Madhya Pradesh Online, RTE Portal MP.
  • After visiting the website, the home page will open in front of you.
  • In this, you will have to click on the RTE Admission option.

 

• • Now a new page will open. In this you will see the column of application process.

• Now click on Application Registration in the Application Process column.

 

• 
  • A new page will open in which you will have to verify your mobile number.
  • You will have to enter your mobile number and captcha and then click on the Click to receive OTP button on your mobile.

 

• • Now you will have to enter the OTP on a new page and click on the Submit OTP button.
  • As soon as you verify the OTP, a new page will open. In this, you will have to verify the Aadhaar of the child.

 

• 

• • On this page, you will have to click on a check box for your consent. Then you will have to fill in the 12 digit Aadhaar number of the child. Then if you want to do KYC through OTP, then click on the KYC through OTP button. If you want to do KYC through Biometric, then click on the KYC through Biometric button.
  • After your Aadhaar verification, the application form will open.

 

• • Now fill up all your details in the application form and submit it.
  • After applying, download the acknowledgement and verification form of the application and go to the nearest Government High School/Higher Secondary School of your village/ward which is a Jan Shiksha Kendra (Complex Center) and get the original documents verified as per the information entered in the application.
  • Print a copy of the form for future reference or save the PDF file.

• Now you have to click on the school option included in the Online Lottery Under RTE Quota.

Seat allotment is to be done by NIC through online lottery in July.

Applications will be filed online only, offline applications cannot be made. Hence applicants will not have to submit hard copy of application in any school. Applicants can apply on the portal themselves. If the applicant faces any problem, he can go to the District Education Center (BRC Office) of the concerned block and apply for admission with the help of help desk established for RTE admission.

 

RTE MP School Admission 2025-26 Last Date

RTE Online School Allotment Year 2025-26 :- In March 2025, through RTE online lottery, schools are to be allotted as per the choice and eligibility of the children for free admission in the recognized non-government schools of the state. The children who had applied can check the status of allotment from the RTE portal. Those who have been allotted a school can download the allotment letter from the RTE portal and take admission in the allotted school with the allotment letter from …. March to … March 2025. On appearing for admission, it is mandatory for the concerned school to do admission reporting from the RTE mobile app because the admission of those who do not have admission reporting from the mobile app is not valid, hence at the time of the child’s presence in the school, the school must take a photo from the mobile app and do admission reporting through the OTP received by the parent.
